The ARBS Foundation is now accepting applications for its research grant program, supporting projects that deliver practical solutions for Australia’s HVAC&R and building services industry.
Since its establishment in 2014, the Foundation has awarded more than 600,000 to education, scholarships and industry-led research, helping address some of the sector’s most important challenges.
What can be funded?
The Foundation is looking for applied research that delivers real- world outcomes across areas such as:
- System types and performance
- System optimisation and controls
- Sustainable environmental initiatives
- Equipment, materials and emerging technologies
Projects that are practical, achievable and capable of being implemented within the industry are strongly encouraged.
Grant funding
Research grants of up to 20,000 are available (larger grants may be considered in exceptional circumstances).

- Review the grant guidelines and eligibility requirements
- Prepare your proposal including your research objectives, budget and industry outcome
- Submit your application through the ARBS Foundation website
