The Foundation is pleased to advise its industry grants program is about to resume.  This has been made possible because ARBS Exhibition has kindly allocated funds for worthwhile industry projects.

The trustees have given a great deal of thought as to how they can make best use of the funds available in the light of challenges faced by the HVAC&R industry now and into the immediate future.

Over recent years the Foundation has granted a considerable sum of money to industry associations to develop and upgrade training courses. It is against this background that the trustees will give priority to funding applications that seek to increase the number of students in these courses. The reimbursement and assistance will generally be provided in accordance with the schedule.

Research applications will continue to be supported where the study will lead to practical outcomes and the application represents value for money. The trustees have determined priority will be given to applications that assist zero emissions strategies.

At the present time any application that contains proposals for the purchase of capital equipment is unlikely to be supported.
